Lu Jong Tibetan Healing Yoga
Lu Jong is an ancient practice that uses fluid body movements and the breath to create a deep harmony of body, mind and spirit.
The physical benefits begin with the strengthening of the spine and immune system by means of gentle movements accessible to all levels of abilities.
Beneath the surface, by opening the body's physical blocks, we initiate the opportunity for mental clarity, balanced emotions, invigorated energy and spiritual development.
All you need is a yoga mat and a level surface to get started. Wear comfortable clothing that permit movement, bare feet are preferred.
We offer a several types of Lu Jong classes ranging from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours in length. Corporate, group and private lessons available.
Tog Chod: Dance of the Wisdom Sword
Tulku Lobsang founded this moving meditation with a sword rooted in traditional Tibetan monk dances and Kalachakra teachings.
With this dynamic technique we harness our inner power, bringing us swiftly into the present moment as we 'cut through' our fears and expectations.
Swords are supplied for class with the option to purchase if desired. Wear athletic shoes and non-restrictive clothing.
Corporate, group and private lessons available.

Meditation: From Basics to Yoga Nidra, Mindfulness & Guided Relaxation
Meditating regularly can have a profound impact upon your life and the unfolding of your spiritual path. The ability to enter into moments of stillness is available to everyone.
Meditation is a method of discovering yourself through your own direct, inner experience. It is also a method to release stress and deepen your connection with the world around you.
It is a tool, a practice and a destination.
Mindfulness is to become aware of our actions without judgement. Eventually we can see the effects of our actions upon ourselves, others, and the environment. When we learn how to use our mind with awareness, we can unlock the power to change our lives.
About Shiné: Authentic Tibetan Calm Abiding meditation
Calm abiding meditation, also called Shiné (Tibetan) or Shamatha (Sanskrit), forms the backbone of Buddhist meditation practice. Without developing a solid foundation in this core practice, we will not be able to settle our minds much less engage in analytic thinking or Insight meditation.
We hear a lot these days about mindfulness. But what does mindfulness mean within the context of Shiné? It is as follows: As soon as you know you are distracted: THAT is mindfulness.
These methods ask that we be gentle and curious, it takes time and much repetition to develop a meditation practice because we are 're-training' our minds.
